Terms of Service

The agreement between us.

Plain-English terms that apply when you book services with Doggie Den Inn.

Last updated: November 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking services with Doggie Den Inn, you agree to these terms. We may update these terms over time — the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Reservations & Cancellations

Booking: All reservations are subject to availability and acceptance based on temperament. Doggie Den Inn reserves the right to decline reservations or end a stay early if a pet poses a safety risk to themselves, other pets, or staff.

Cancellations: Standard reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours before drop-off without penalty. Holiday reservations require 7 days notice for cancellation. Late cancellations may incur a fee equal to one night's stay.

No-shows: Failure to drop off without notice will be treated as a no-show and may result in a charge equivalent to the reserved stay.

Holiday minimums: Stays during observed holidays require a 3-night minimum.

Memberships: All memberships include a 6-month minimum commitment. Cancellation after the commitment period requires 30 days written notice.

3. Vaccination Requirements

All pets must have current vaccinations as outlined in our policies (rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella, flea & tick preventative). Records must be provided at booking and updated as needed. Pets without current vaccinations cannot be boarded.

4. Pricing & Payment

Pricing for boarding, training, grooming, and add-on services is as listed on our website at the time of booking. Holiday pricing applies during peak periods as listed in our policies.

Payment is processed at booking through PawPartner or our payment processor. Outstanding balances must be paid in full before pickup.

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice. Existing reservations are honored at the rate at which they were booked.

5. Health & Safety

Pet health: You are responsible for disclosing any known health conditions, medications, allergies, or behavioral concerns at booking. Failure to disclose may affect our ability to provide safe care.

Medical emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If you cannot be reached, we will seek veterinary care for your pet's safety. You are responsible for veterinary expenses incurred.

Liability: While we take every precaution to keep your pet safe, you acknowledge that boarding involves inherent risks. Doggie Den Inn is not liable for injury, illness, or loss not caused by gross negligence on our part. We carry appropriate insurance for our operations.

Behavioral disclosures: Pets that pose a safety risk to other pets or staff may be removed from group activities or have their stay terminated. In such cases, you are responsible for arranging pickup and applicable fees.

6. Photo & Video Use

During your pet's stay, we may take photos and short videos for use in daily report cards, our website, or social media. By booking with us, you grant Doggie Den Inn the right to use such media for marketing and communication purposes.

If you do not want your pet's image used in marketing or social media, please notify us in writing at booking. We will respect your preference.

7. Property & Belongings

You may bring belongings (food, bedding, toys) for your pet's stay. Doggie Den Inn is not responsible for lost, damaged, or destroyed personal items. We recommend leaving high-value items at home.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in North Carolina.

9. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
